Saturday was both giant and killer for the Giant Killers as they hit 6 HR 16 RBI and won 4/5 starts with 37Ks and a 1.25 ERA. More importantly, it propelled the Giant Killers to a 9-1 victory. The GKs have leapfrogged the DDs into 5th place and have a Week 21 matchup with the 4th place TDs. Can the GK's complete the miracle comeback to make the playoffs?
Speaking of the TDs... they got demolished 10-1 by this week's second WORST team to fall into 4th place. The TDs control their own destiny with matchups remaining against the 5th place GKs and the 3rd place Wangs. Can the TDs rebound to limp into the playoffs?
Meanwhile the DDs epic collapse continued. They dropped their 4th straight matchup and 6th of 7. The L-Trains stole the matchup on Sunday with 4SBs and 4HRs after trailing 7-3 heading into the day. The DDs are now in 6th place, but are still right in the middle of the playoff race. Can the DDs sober up and make one final drive for a playoff berth?
The Rise of Wang won their 3rd straight matchup and now look like a playoff favorite. Not only are the Wangs in 3rd heading into the final 2 weeks, but they have a Week 21 matchup with TheOzzieGuillens who have given up a 9 spot each of the last two weeks.
