Week 18 Recap: Wangs Clinch

****Reminder: The Trade Deadline is SUNDAY***

The Wangs have unofficially clinched the regular season championship and earned the 1 seed for the playoffs. If you disagree, consider this: The Wangs are almost as close to second place (21.5 games) as the OzzieGuillens are to the playoffs (24.5 games). Congrats to the Wangs for kicking my ass and essentially clinching the title.

The rest of the playoff picture is a six team race for 3 spots with the OzzieGuillens playing spoiler. This week, the South Side Hit Men's playoff hopes took a major blow. The Hitmen beat the OzzieGuillens by the slimmest of margins and now face a tough road to the playoffs. Since the six teams in the middle of the league are all so close, the remaining schedule comes down to 1) Do you still HAVE to play the Wangs? 2) Do you still GET to play the Guillens? Two teams are done with the Wangs and still get to play the Guillens- L-Trains and Dynasty. They face the easiest road to the playoffs. The Hitmen and the Giant Killers have already played the Guillens for the last time, but still have to play the Wangs. They face the toughest road. The Fellows and Trolley Dodgers have matchups remaining with both teams.

The Week 18 Awards are as follows:
