The Dynasty, who need a new team name, lost in the semis for the second straight year. The Giant Killers also got it done with offense- 14hr and 14 doubles. The week started off as an offense vs. pitching showdown, but after catching up mid week on offense, The Dynasty faded on the weekend without keeper Hanley Ramirez. The quantity over quality pitching staff won wins and ks by just enough to seal the victory.
The GKs have the tiebreak for the championship thanks to a late season 8-3 victory over the Wangs. The Giant Killers hope to become the first 4 time league champion. The Wangs are looking to become the 4th champion in the league's 9 year history.
