If your last name is Martin, you had a good week. (Unless your first name is Russell.)
We had our first real blowouts of the year, with Martin the younger destroying the Giant Killers 11-1 and Martin the elder beating up on the Ozzies 10-2. The Dynasty posted the best week to date with a 7-0 .863 mark. Now before you start feeling sorry for yourself Braband, you would have only beat 2 teams and posted only a .397 winning percentage. As predicted right here on this blog, the Scrap Heap Pitching Staff imploded. Both the Hitmen and The Trolley Dodgers got lucky on the week with 3-3-1 records. The Hitmen were slightly better overall (.519 to .507) so I'm giving the Trolley Dodger Award to los trolley dodgers. The L-Trains were the second best team this week and are out of last place in the adjusted standings.
As far as the other losers, the Wangs were pretty unlucky. Tom Gorzelany and his 100 ks were not enough to save them in their matchup with the L-Trains. Brian's Fellows added Scotty Pods and all of a sudden the team forgot how to hit. Call it a coincidence if you want. Meanwhile, the Ozzies are reeling and need to get it turned around in a hurry. Cutting Ichiro was a good start.
