For a while there, I was wondering why we even bothered to play this week with just about everyone in a tie or one run game. The Giant Killers ended up winning 6-4 thanks to Hiroki Kuroda's 9 Ks. I'm starting to think Braband has some kind of line of communication with Kuroda. First, he comes out after a 2 hour rain delay to finish the 5th inning in order to get a win, then he ties a season high with 9 Ks when the GKs were trailing Ks by 9. The Giant Killers are this week's big winner going 7-0 with a .696 winning percentage. Don't get too down on yourself Dynasty, you were the second best team and you did make it to first place by the end of the week in our standings.
Meanwhile, the worst two teams this week were also playing each other. The ghost managed Fellows really could have used some of those adds this week. Luckily, they only lost 5-4 instead of the 7-4 loss they deserved. That means the Trolley Dodgers are taking home their namesake award again. Having said that, this is the second week I've played a team with 3 closers that have failed to get a save so I'll give the L-Trains an honorable mention. I guess I should have seen this coming and picked up a closer given that all of BFK's closers are NL guys and those NL teams, well for whatever reason they all seem to be in a little bit of a funk lately.....
Here's what you deserved in Week 11:
